James McAdoo named state independent basketball Player of Year
Posted Mar 28, 2010
The Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association all-state basketball teams were full of Hampton Roads players. In Division II, Norfolk Christian star junior James McAdoo was named the Player of the Year. Blessed with international experience, he led the Ambassadors to the state championship for medium-sized private schools. In Division I, Bishop O'Connell of Arlington swept the top honors. Kendall Marshall -- who, like McAdoo, has committed to play for North Carolina -- was the Player of the Year.
