Top LB James Vaughters takes hard look at nine finalists

Having narrowed his choices from more than 30 scholarship offers down to nine schools has made James Vaughters’ recruiting experience a little more manageable. But it’s still proving to be a difficult process. Vaughters was recently named an Under Armour All-American and will participate in its nationally televised all-star game next January. Meanwhile, he and his father are taking a look at the nine schools from which he’ll make his decision — Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Southern Cal, Stanford and, of course, Texas.
