Kuiper’s 3-Pointer: UNC-Rhode Island
Posted Mar 31, 2010
First, the good news. UNC is playing in the championship game of the NIT on Thursday night. The Tar Heels showed some resolve and found a way to win. Larry Drew II continued his strong late-season play, scoring the last five points of regulation to send his team into overtime. The Tar Heels got a good break with two seconds to go in overtime, when Will Graves appeared to inadvertently trip Rhode Island’s Lamont Ulmer, and no call was made.
