Kuiper’s 3-Pointer: UNC-Rhode Island

First, the good news. UNC is playing in the championship game of the NIT on Thursday night. The Tar Heels showed some resolve and found a way to win. II continued his strong late-season play, scoring the last five points of regulation to send his team into overtime. The Tar Heels got a good break with two seconds to go in overtime, when appeared to inadvertently trip Rhode Island’s Lamont Ulmer, and no call was made. (ACC Sports Journal)
