Carolina Takes Series, Tops Maryland 8-4

A four-run ninth inning propelled No. 22 North Carolina over Maryland 8-4 Sunday afternoon at Shipley Field. Ben Bunting paced the Carolina attacked posting four hits. The Tar Heels earned their first lead in the ninth and never looked back, to improve to 20-10 overall and 4-8 in league play. The Terrapins falls to 12-17 overall and 3-9 in the ACC with the loss.
