A six-run fourth inning lifted No. 28 NC State over No. 20 North Carolina 14-6 Saturday night at Boshamer Stadium. Patrick Johnson suffers the loss as Carolina falls to 21-12 and 5-9 in the ACC. The Wolfpack improve to 21-11 overall and 6-8 in league play after leading all nine innings of play. Johnson (3-3) was plagued by five walks, after allowing seven runs on just four hits in 3.2 innings of work.
