Young players shine in spring game for Tar Heels

UNC’s Mywan Jackson promised his mother he would put on a show during the Tar Heels’ annual spring football game, which just happened to take place on her birthday. Back home in Florida, Jackson’s mother, Terrie Green, got to watch her son follow through. One of several young players taking center stage during the White’s 17-0 victory against the Blue on Saturday afternoon at Kenan Stadium, Jackson picked off a pair of passes.
