Maryland Knocks Tar Heels Out Of ACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament


Fifth-ranked Maryland defeated third ranked North Carolina 13-5 in the 2010 ACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament semifinals Friday night at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. Maryland improved to 9-2 with the win while the Tar Heels fell to 11-2 heading into their season finale at home against Ohio State in 15 days. The Terps will played second-ranked Virginia Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the ACC Tournament championship game. (Tar Heel Blue)
