LB Daquan Romero commits to North Carolina
Posted May 14, 2010
Phoebus' Daquan Romero didn't have a set date in mind. He didn't care if it happened before his senior season began ? or during, or after. But when the time is right, it's right. Romero, a rising senior defensive end for the defending state champion Phantoms, gave his verbal commitment to North Carolina Thursday. "There's just something about Carolina," Romero said. "Honestly, it was the lifestyle outside of football. I mean, football is my life. And when football season is over, I'll still be committed to it.
