A two-out RBI single off the bat of John Barr scored Jarrett Parker in the bottom of the ninth to propel No. 1 Virginia over No. 21 North Carolina 3-2 Saturday afternoon at Davenport Field. Matt Harvey suffered the tough luck loss as UNC fell to 32-18 overall and 11-14 in the ACC. Virginia won their twelfth straight game improving to 41-9 on the year and 19-6 in league play.
