UNC in QB Marquise Williams' Top-5
Posted May 19, 2010
Quarterbacks usually decide before other prospects because most teams only take one or two QBs in each recruiting class, and competition for those spots is heated. That accelerated pace has been true for Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek dual-threat signal caller Marquise Williams. The 6-foot-3, 218-pounder has scholarship offers from more than 20 college programs but narrowed his list to a top five earlier this month. That group consists of Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Louisiana State.
