ACC Football Commitment Lists: Coastal Division, May 20
Posted May 20, 2010
Down the road in Chapel Hill, Butch Davis gained his sixth commitment for the 2011 class when he landed Daquan Romero. Romero played defensive end in high school but projects as a linebacker in college. Whatever the position, he clearly knows how to rush the quarterback. He reportedly had 30 sacks - yes 30 - during his junior season at Hampton (Va.) Phoebus High. He chose the Tar Heels over Virginia and West Virginia.
