The signing period is over, UNC’s search isn’t

The NCAA’s spring signing period has come and gone and UNC is still short two big men. But even though recruits can no longer submit official letters of intent that bind them to a particular school, the Tar Heels haven’t given up on the search to find replacements for transferring twins David and Travis Wear. In fact, coach Roy Williams may stand a better chance than ever at filling their void in his frontcourt, given the results of Wednesday’s last-minute signing rush.
