Justin Knox will join the Tar Heels
Posted May 25, 2010
UNC just got a little bigger. Justin Knox, a 6-9, 240-pound transfer from Alabama, will be a Tar Heel next season his uncle, Darien Knox, confirmed Monday night. Darien said Justin informed the UNC coaching staff of his decision Monday and will make a statement today. Justin, who averaged 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes last season, will immediately help a UNC frontcourt that was left thin with the transfers of David and Travis Wear, the graduation of Deon Thompson and Ed Davis' decision to leave early for the NBA.
