Tar Heels Back in Postseason Form

UNC needed just one inning to remind the nation of its recent history of postseason dominance on Friday, spotting Matt Harvey a 6-0 lead before the ace right-hander ever took the mound. The third-seeded Tar Heels coasted to a 12-3 victory over No. 2 seed California. While UNC’s four straight College World Series may be irrelevant to this season, it’s impossible to dismiss the power of experience that was evident on Friday evening.
