Sooners slip past Tar Heels in 10 innings
Posted Jun 6, 2010
Mike Fox doesn't know what happened. The longtime UNC coach watched as his team went from offensive juggernaut to ice cold in less than 24 hours. However, the Tar Heels would not give in. Despite being shut down for five innings, UNC fought back from a 4-0 deficit and sent the game into extra innings. But the top-seeded Sooners held on to win 7-6 in 10 innings Saturday in Game 4 of the Norman Regional.
