Three-star safety Brandon Ellerbe of Anson (Wadesboro, N.C.) has decommitted from the Tigers and will play for the Tar Heels. His mother is moving to the Chapel Hill, N.C. area, which has altered his recruitment. His other option was living with his aunt and attending Clemson. Maryland, Texas Tech and Duke have also offered the 6-foot, 200-pound prospect, who originally selected the Tigers last September.
