Like father, like daughter

This will be the first Father's Day in some time that Casey Burns won't be in Chapel Hill. But how she remains linked with her father, Gary Burns, is a way unique among Carolinians. They are the only father and daughter both to win national titles as Tar Heels. Casey played on two national champions on coach Karen Shelton's field hockey teams. Gary was an All-American on two NCAA men's lacrosse champions under coach Willie Scroggs. (Chapel Hill News)
