Hansbrough's extra work paying off

During his freshman and sophomore seasons, Tyler Hansbrough earned first-team All-ACC honors by scoring on the fast break, on rebounds and with his back to the basket from a low-post position. With a new mid-range game, he has averaged 28.3 points the past four games while shooting 60 percent from the field. The change came somewhat out of necessity. (Charlotte Observer)
