Darien Rankin starts the parade

In Rowan County, fans have been wondering which one of our football stars — Romar Morris and Darien Rankin of Salisbury and Domonique Noble and B.J. Sherrill of West Rowan — would be the first to commit. And to which powerful Division I program. A couple of weeks ago, no one would’ve thought Rankin would be the first. He was the only one of the four without a firm offer. (Salisbury Post)
