Summer basketball notes: Tar Heels' struggles leave bitter taste with a hint of optimism

Roy Williams said Harrison Barnes has impressed those around the team with his energy and focus in summer pick-up games and workouts. Of course, anyone in baby blue who displays a penchant for doing a little bit extra is immediately compared to Tyler Hansbrough. There is one area where Williams said Barnes is already ahead. “He is more vocal than Tyler,” Williams said. “But the table is more vocal than Tyler.”
