Report: UNC to Hire Everett Withers

Minnesota defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Everett Withers has decided to take the same position at North Carolina, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting. According to the paper, Withers accepted the job on Sunday. Withers, the highest-paid assistant coach in Gophers history, will replace Chuck Pagano, who resigned last week to become an assistant coach with the Baltimore Ravens. (Inside Carolina)
