Landon Turner Still a Strong UNC Commit Despite Investigation
Posted Jul 16, 2010
It's been less than week since rising Harrisonburg senior Landon Turner gave his verbal commitment to play college football at North Carolina. ESPN is reporting that NCAA investigators interviewed UNC football players this week, asking questions about agents and extra benefits. Harrisonburg coach Tim Sarver said Friday that Turner's verbal commitment hasn't been affected by the reported investigation. Turner chose UNC over Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
