Roy Williams anticipated limiting the amount of time some of his regulars played Saturday. He didn’t foresee having a game against Virginia Tech so well in hand that Tyler Hansbrough sat for the final six minutes, nor the luxury of allowing several walk-ons to log career highs in playing time. “Not in the ACC, you don’t think in those terms,” Williams said after watching his team’s 92-53 rout of the Hokies.
