Drug charges dropped for UNC's Quan Sturdivant

A simple possession of marijuana charge against UNC's linebacker was voluntarily dismissed in Stanly County Monday after he entered a deferred prosecution agreement. Police in Stanly County arrested Sturdivant July 10, charging him with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana. He was originally scheduled for trial on Aug 2 for the misdemeanor charge.
