UNC opens with Austin, Little working with second team

With an NCAA investigation hanging over the UNC football program, Coach Butch Davis and his players were excited to finally get back on the practice field Friday afternoon. The Tar Heels, who are ranked No. 18 in the preseason coaches poll, kicked off their season in the sweltering heat. And even though NCAA investigators were back on campus earlier this week, senior cornerback Kendric Burney said it is not a distraction.
