College football countdown: No. 20 North Carolina

No team in the ACC returns more from a season ago than North Carolina. That might be bad news for the offense, but it’s great for a defense that returns all but two starters. Of course, the status of DT Marvin Austin is in doubt given the NCAA investigation into Austin’s alleged relationship with an agent. Losing Austin would be significant but the defense would still have plenty of playmakers. (Orlando Sentinel)
