Other than making clutch game-winning field goals in big games, the trademark of the placekicking Barth family at UNC has been their long, flowing mane of curly blond hair But when Casey Barth, the Tar Heels’ current kicker, came out to meet the press at Thursday’s media day, he had a very different look. Gone were the curls. In their place was a much more aerodynamic buzz cut. (Wilmington Star News)
