Deon Thompson Signs With Greek Pro Team

Former UNC forward Deon Thompson, a 2010 UNC graduate, has signed a contract with Ikaros Esperos (Greece) for the 2010-2011 season, Thompson's agent Jim Tanner has announced. "I am thrilled to have the chance to play professionally," said Thompson. "It is something that I've always dreamed of doing and I'm excited about the opportunity to take my game to the next level and to live overseas."
