Salisbury RB Romar Morris commits to Tar Heels
Posted Aug 17, 2010
Romar Morris decided to stay close to his Salisbury home yesterday to play his college football and committed to North Carolina. Morris made his decision after cutting down his choices last week to UNC and Georgia Tech. He is a 5-9, 175-pound running back at Salisbury High School noted for his speed, and joins teammate Darien Rankin, a defensive back, in the UNC class. "I think Carolina was one of his top choices because they did recruit him as a running back," Coach Joe Pinyan of Salisbury said.
