Roy Williams offers Angelo Chol
Posted Aug 26, 2010
The high school senior class is low on marquee big men. Which means if you're a talented low post presence like Angelo Chol, ranked No. 54 overall by Scout, your list of suitors is predictably large. What's newsworthy this month about Chol is that UNC has worked its way back into the recruiting battle, with multiple reports indicating that Tar Heels coach Roy Williams recently extended a formal scholarship offer Chol's way. About Chol's game: at 6-8 and 200 pounds he is a sturdy inside force, far more advanced on the defensive end than he is on offense.
