Balanced Scoring Leads Tar Heels Past Mizzou

Six different players scored for UNC as the top-ranked Tar Heels defeated defending Big 12 Conference regular-season champion Missouri 6-1 Sunday afternoon at Fetzer Field in the Carolina Nike Classic. The victory improved the Tar Heels to 3-0-1 on the season and also represented Anson Dorrance's 699th career win as UNC's head mentor. Dorrance saw his record improve to 699-36-23 overall in 32 seasons.
