T.J. Thorpe's ankle 'better' according to coach

Jordan High School head football coach Mike Briggs said Sunday evening that 's ankle is "feeling better" after he injured it on Friday night. Thorpe, a senior defensive back and wide receiver who has verbally committed to North Carolina, fell awkwardly on his ankle in Friday's loss to Panther Creek after attempting to catch a pass in the end zone. After he went down, Thorpe walked off the field on his own power and was treated on the sideline. (High School OT)
