Butch Davis and the Tar Heels proved their resiliency and ability to focus in the onslaught of off-the-field distractions. There's no let-up in that category, apparently, as defensive line coach John Blake resigned Sunday afternoon, saying his presence had become a distraction to the football program. No word by early Monday morning on who will step in. (Tar Heel Blue)
