Butch Davis satisfied with votes of confidence for his job

UNC head coach Butch Davis met with the media before practice Tuesday for the first time since associate head coach John Blake resigned from the program Sunday. John Blake’s resignation came amid NCAA investigations into the school and Blake’s relationship with sports agent Gary Wichard. Blake felt that the resignation was necessary as his presence had become a distraction to the program.
