Tar Heels move on after Blake's departure

The shock that registered among the members of the UNC football team upon learning that embattled assistant coach John Blake resigned was still being felt Tuesday, two days after Blake informed the team of his decision. “On the D-line, it’s been a somber mood,” defensive lineman Kareem Martin said. “Everybody was sad with the departure of Coach Blake because all of us were really close.”
