T.J. Yates changes image with performance


In last week’s 30-24 loss to LSU, appeared on his way to his finest hour in a UNC uniform, guiding a series of masterful drives that nearly gave his embattled Tar Heels a much-needed victory. Yates threw for a career-high 412 yards and three touchdowns. More importantly, his 97-yard touchdown pass to and 14-yard strike to helped energize a Tar Heels team that looked deflated after the Tigers built a 30-10 lead. (Burlington Times News)
