Jheranie Boyd has a new nickname. ESPN broadcaster Brent Musburger dubbed UNC’s talented wide receiver “Jhay Bird” following one of his monster catches. “I didn’t realize he called me that until somebody came in my class and was like, ‘Hey, Jhay Bird,’ Boyd said. “When I finally looked at the game I was like, ‘Oh, OK.’ I don’t know why he called me that; maybe it’s a new nickname he gave me, but I don’t mind.”
