Carolina Field Hockey Travels To The White House
Posted Sep 15, 2010
For some, a visit to the White House - and a chance to meet the President - is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The UNC field hockey team did just that on Monday, for the second time in the last three years. The 2009 Carolina field hockey squad joined other 2009-10 NCAA champions on the afternoon of Sept. 13 to be honored at the White House. Congratulatory words from President Barack Obama highlighted the reception on the South Lawn.
