Marquise Williams on National Player of the Year Watch List

Who will join recent winners Terrelle Pryor, Garrett Gilbert and Dillon Baxter as the MaxPreps National Player of the Year? While it's still mid-September, contenders are beginning to emerge. Marquise Williams, QB, Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.): Williams and the Mavericks were off last week after outscoring their first three opponents 161-6. Williams led the offensive onslaught by throwing for 760 yards and 17 touchdown passes while rushing for nearly 300 more. (Max Preps)
