Butch Davis' reactions to pair of penalties

UNC coach Butch Davis said Thursday he was disappointed in the NCAA rulings on cornerback Kendric Burney and safety Deunta Williams, but he is hopeful an appeal will reduce their suspensions. "I was a little bit disappointed in light of some of the other institutions where extra benefits and the values of some of the things that were involved," Davis said. "I thought it was a little bit harsh."
