Player of the game: Bruce Carter, UNC linebacker; The senior was all over the field in UNC's best defensive performance of the season. Carter not only finished with seven tackles but returned an interception 55 yards and blocked a punt in the fourth quarter to set up the final score. Stat of the game: UNC won despite turning the ball over three times -- two fumbles and an interception. (Durham Herald-Sun)
