Winning ugly has to be better than losing pretty, and winning ugly is what Carolina did Saturday evening at Rutgers. In defeating the Scarlet Knights 17-13, the Tar Heels got expected performances from players like Bruce Carter and Quinton Coples. But they also got some big plays from some unusual suspects. Matt Merletti and Ryan Taylor have similar stories.
