UNC to appeal Burney and Williams' NCAA suspensions Friday


The NCAA has scheduled a Friday conference call in order for UNC to appeal last week's suspensions of football players and , UNC athletic director Dick Baddour said today. "Customarily, we would know [the decisions] the same day,'' Baddour said. That means there is a chance that at least one of the secondary starters could play in Saturday’s game against ECU, if their penalties are reduced. (Raleigh News & Observer)
