ECU matched its 2009 point total against the Tar Heels, but UNC emerged with a 42-17 victory after two halves of football that were as different as night and day. In the 2009 post-game scene, UNC's Marvin Austin chided ECU players -- saying they could only wish they were wearing light blue instead of purple. With Austin suspended from the team indefinitely, the Tar Heels savored their victory in more muted tones.
