Are the Tar Heels trending forward? Answer: No doubt, at least on the field. For all that has happened off the field and in the news, credit coach Butch Davis and his staff, the senior leaders and the players themselves for staying focused on football and improving. Carolina was dominant in the second half of its 42-17 win over East Carolina.
