N.C. State edges UNC in recruiting war

North Carolina made up a lot of ground to almost catch the Wolfpack on signing day. The Tar Heels reeled in four major catches in California cornerback Herman Davidson, South Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn, Pennsylvania H-Back Christian Wilson and Kinston defensive end Quinton Coples in the 11th hour to finish with a 17-player class rated 30th by Scout.com and 34th by Rivals.
