ACC Football Commitment Lists: Coastal Division, Oct. 7

It’s been two weeks since our last Coastal Division commitment update, but only two schools have been busy during this time. Duke and North Carolina each added a commitment from the class of 2011. This week, defensive end , a sleeper recruit from Lewisville, N.C., committed to UNC. Alberts is a 6-foot-8, 215-pound athlete who also plays tight end at Forsyth Country Day School. The Winston-Salem Journal reported that Alberts, who also plays baseball, just began playing football this year. (ACC Sports Journal)
