UNC rules Ramsey out for Clemson game, Smith out for season

UNC will hold fullback Devon Ramsey out of today's game against Clemson and announced that senior safety Jonathan Smith will not play this season. Ramsey had played in the first four games and scored a touchdown in the opener against Louisiana State but the school said it obtained new information this week as a part of its ongoing investigation into agent-related benefits and academic misconduct.
