With 19 seconds left in UNC’s 21-16 victory against visiting Clemson on Saturday, Tar Heels running back Johnny White came off the field with a cramp. While his face was contorted into a teeth-clenching grimace, walking off the pain, the thousands on hand at Kenan Stadium began a chant. “John-ny Whi-ite! John-ny Whi-ite!” thundered down from the stadium’s bleachers. (Burlington Times News)
