The Tar Heels have persevered despite the NCAA investigations into the program that have been a national story for four months. The depleted defense is ranked No. 38 in the nation, and QB T.J. Yates has played well above expectations. Enough talent is on hand, and enough is returning (Kendric Burney is back in a week) for UNC to make a push for the ACC title.
